Our 2010-2011 Plowing Contract with Rob’s Tractor Service is in place.  Please contact me at snowplowing@sugarwoodfarms.org if you have any questions or concerns about this winter’s plowing.

The Annual Meeting of Sugarwood Farms is scheduled for May 3, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Jerry Whitney Conference Room in Grantham Town Hall.  Article IV(a) states that the “annual meeting will be held in May upon 30 day prior notice by the President and Board of Directors.”  Article B states:  “Members shall be notified thirty (30) days in advance of regular or special meetings.

Right now we have two agenda items: Election of two Directors and setting the 2011 Annual Assessment.  If you have additional agenda items, please contact the President or Board of Directors to have your item added to the agenda.

Sugarwood Farms Inc. Association 2009 Annual Meeting ballot results are as follows:

(1)  A majority of Association members elected the following members to the Board of Directors:

Pete Hadlock

Nick Ilukowicz

Rich Kaszeta

(2)  A majority of Association members approved a 2009 Calendar Year Assessment of $750.00 per lot.

(3) A majority of Association members approved increasing the Board of Directors’ Annual Assessment Authority, not to exceed to $1,500 per lot per year.

On Manday, May 4th, we had the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Association.  Minutes from that meeting are available above from the “Meeting Minutes” tab.

Unfortunately, we did not have sufficient attendance to achieve quorum for passage of the 2009 assessment, so we are required to conduct the vote by mail.  You should receive a ballot in your email, if you don’t, please contact either the President or Secretary to receive your ballot.

The President, Secretary, and Board of Directors (both outgoing and incoming) thank you for your timely assistance.

Sugarwood Farms

May 4, 2009 at 7:00 PM will be the 2009 Sugarwood Association Annual Meeting.  Karen Foster reserved the small meeting room at Grantham Town Hall for our meeting.

Please plan on attending, or, if not available, contact the Board about a proxy ballot.

At the Septemeber 10, 2008 Special Meeting of Sugarwood Farms, Inc. Association, an Assessment of $429 per lot was approved to pay for ongoing maintenance, insurance, and snow removal costs on Splitrock Road.

This assessment is payable in full on or before December 1st, 2008.
